Complaints: anyone (rated entities, investors, users of the rating, third parties) may submit a complaint regarding the rating process or the Agency’s conduct by sending a message. The Agency will provide a reasoned response within 30 working days. To proceed, please refer to the Talk to Us section. In the subject line of your message, select Complaints.
Justified concerns: in accordance with Article 20 of Regulation (EU) 2024/3005, trade associations, civil society organisations, academics and public authorities may submit justified concerns regarding rating activities. Appeal: rated entities that disagree with the rating outcome may submit a formal request for a review within 30 days of being notified of the rating. The appeal procedure is handled by the IRC (Independent Rating Committee) that did not take part in the original decision. To proceed, please refer to the Talk to Us section. Standard Ethics’ Annual Report, also known as “The Big Picture”, is a comprehensive document produced annually by the Agency, which aims to provide an overview of the Corporate, Country and Security Ratings issued by Standard Ethics, as well as comparative analyses of industrial sectors and ESG aspects in areas such as corporate governance and the governance of Sustainability.
